The Pacific Symphony and South Coast Chinese Cultural Center proudly present a vibrant OC Lantern Festival on Saturday, March 2 from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m., marking the conclusion of the Lunar New Year festivities. Immerse yourself in a day filled with music, dance, artistic endeavors, riddles, and culinary delights.
Step into the Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall for enchanting free performances by local music and dance troupes, while the lobby glows with the allure of floating lanterns. Outside, on the Argyros Plaza, engage with community groups showcasing martial arts demonstrations, both traditional and contemporary music and dance, Chinese YoYo, and much more. The climax of the event unfolds with an exhilarating dragon dance performance on the plaza.
Indulge in a shared dining experience at Din Tai Fung, renowned for its delectable xiao long bao (soup dumplings) and noodles, promising enjoyment for the entire family.
As part of the Collage Culinary Experience at Bloomingdale’s, Paradise Dynasty invites you to savor regional cuisines of China, along with special Lunar New Year dishes and delights.

Puesto Launches ‘Plates’: A New Twist on Mexico City Flavors

Expanding its acclaimed menu of contemporary Mexico City cuisine, Puesto Mexican Artisan Kitchen & Bar now proudly presents a new category, "Plates," across all its venues. These Plates are available for both Lunch and Dinner, designed as entree selections that patrons can savor either before or with Puesto's celebrated tacos.
Each Plate is accompanied by handcrafted, organic, non-GMO blue corn tortillas, seasoned with herb-lime rice, and accompanied by classic black beans. At present, Puesto is excited to offer three distinctive Plate options, each meticulously crafted to emphasize both taste and harmony:
- Short Rib Birria (GF): Featuring succulent short rib paired with radish, onion, cilantro, Jalisco salsa, avocado, and a rich consomé.
- Pozole Verde (GF): A hearty dish of S.C. Farms pork, hominy, salsa fresca, cabbage, radish, cilantro, and avocado.
- Shrimp A La Plancha (GF): Prepared with Mexican shrimp, garlic butter, red onion, jalapeño, guajillo chile, avocado, and a tangy tamarindo-chile sauce.
Complementing the culinary additions, Puesto's beverage program introduces exciting new cocktail selections, elevating the craft bar experience. Beau du Bois, Puesto's VP of Bar & Spirits, unveils innovative drinks like the Honeydew Mezcal Margarita and Ginger Margarita, along with a novel Cadillac Margarita presentation that includes a miniature bottle of Grand Marnier.

- The Ultimate Taco Tuesday: Celebrating "Taco Tuesday," Puesto offers a 50% discount on all tacos for dine-in customers from 3 p.m. until closing every Tuesday. Puesto's tacos stand out for their use of handmade, non-GMO, organic blue corn tortillas, jidori chicken, sustainable meats, fresh local seafood, and homemade salsas, with a variety of nearly a dozen unique tacos available.
- The Happiest Happy Hour: Weekdays from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., enjoy Puesto's Happy Hour specials, including $10 Puesto Perfect margaritas, $9 wines by the glass, and half off all Snacks & Shares.
